Jackal: "They Pull Me Back In"

The final conversation in the first major quest for a scifi action adventure RPG. 

Jackal (the PC) was framed for the destruction of the planet Mondol-1 five years ago after their government-sponsored exploration vessel launched a nuclear weapon. Ever since, they'd been hiding out on a forgotten satellite run by scav leader Gerick. 

During this quest, Jackal is blackmailed by Gerick into flying into forbidden airspace to nab a hyperdrive. Once their task is complete, Gerick reveals that he knows Jackal's true identity and has called the authorities to cash in on Jackal's bounty. The player barely escapes, and crashes into a nearby moon, where he is saved by Gerick's shady #2, Helvin.
